I Could Read The Sky

A film made by Nicola Bruce from the book by Timothy O’Grady and Steve Pyke. It tells the story of an elderly Irishman looking back at his life and his experiences as one of the thousands who left Ireland in the 20th century to find work in England.

The music was created by Real World composer Iarla O’Lionáird working alongside programmer Ron Aslan. This resulted in the film soundtrack and accompanying CD on Real World Records
