In 1980 Adrian released a bold, uncompromising record in collaboration with Mark Stewart (Pop Group fame) and members of the Slits.
It was the first release on Stewart's new record label, On-U Sound.
28 years and well over 100 releases later, On-U Sound continues to deal with music that is just as bold and fearless.
Adrian has played a part in the entire On-U Sound catalogue, which is based around funk, reggae and dub music.
Sherwood has produced for On-U classics like Creation Rebel and Bim Sherman and over 76 projects for artists like Depeche Mode and Living Colour, he also turned down the Rolling Stones!
On-U Sound is a label that knows no limits. Sherwood and his associates demonstrate this every time they perform.
Adrian's first album, ?Never Trust A Hippy?, was released on Real World Records in 2003.
The follow-up ?Becoming A Cliché/Dub Cliché? was released in 2007.
He also found time in 2006 to music supervise the movie ?Johnny Was? which included a number of his own tracks.
