Ayub’s album En Mana Kuoyo has sold well all over the world and he has spent the last 20 years touring as well as finding his music in demand for film and television.

He has worked with the likes of Lionel Richie, Peter Gabriel and the Afro Celt Sound System.

In 1998 Ayub composed the music for the Worldspace Africa show in South Africa as well as performing on the opening night ceremony which was attended by Nelson Mandela and other prominent African dignitaries.

Ayub also composed music for the Wall To Wall TV series Into Africa, the feature film Hamilton Mattress, a special track for the Wild Thornberry’s feature film and also worked with Peter Gabriel, George Acogny and John Debney on the score of the Warner Bros feature film Duma.

His music has also been licensed into a number of other feature films including Human Cargo, Buffalo Soldiers and The Constant Gardener and The Trail.

Ayub’s music was also featured on the classic IKEA advert Tattoo series.
